Team Victorious jockeys made a strong debut in the 2022-23 endurance season, dominating the 100-kilometre international qualifying race. Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) organised the contest at the Bahrain International Endurance Village.
Salman Isa won the race covering the distance in 5 hours, 53 minutes, 15 seconds, followed by teammates Manal Fakhrawi and Othman Al Awadhi, who clocked respectively 5:53:20 and 5:53:41. Mohammed Wael, also of Team Victorious, finished fourth with 5:55:35, followed by Al Zaim’s Jabeur Bader who clocked 6 hours.
In the 80km local qualifying race, A1 Stable rider Faisal Sultan Moussa outclassed other jockeys, clocking 6:22:9. Fifty-nine jockeys representing different stables competed in both qualifying races.
Breef will organise two international races covering 100km and 120km on November 4 and 5, in addition to local qualifying races (40 and 80km).
