With more than 90 luxury brands in its portfolio, the Bahrain Jewellery Centre (BJC) is set to cross more milestones as it sponsors and takes part in the much-awaited largest jewellery and watch exhibition in the Middle East opening today at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Now in its 30th edition, Jewellery Arabia 2022, is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
As a platinum sponsor of Jewellery Arabia, BJC expects a large turn-out of guests as they showcase their latest products and brands at the biggest pavilion among all exhibitors.
Founded by the late Abdulrazzak Shirazi, Abdulmajeed Shirazi and Dr Abdulqassim Shirazi, BJC is a family business with three solid core values for their business: high quality, exceptional customer service and a passion for excellence.
According to BJC executive director Mohammed Shirazi, the much awaited-event will be a ‘spectacle for all’.
He praised the smoothness of preparations and the organisational process leading up to the event which continues until November 26.
“The venue is the biggest in the Middle East, standing gracefully in Sakhir with its unbelievable architecture that encompasses our Arabic heritage,” he told the GDN.
“The BJC booth, as always, is the biggest in size and this year we have even doubled our space and added compelling features to welcome more guests.
“The beauty of Jewellery Arabia being held annually in Bahrain is that there are always exclusive and expensive pieces placed on display for the first time.
“At BJC, we celebrate all our diverse and refined luxury brands as each one comes with its own style, clientele and impeccable craftsmanship and we are thrilled this year to present the Patek Phillipe boutique – which is a 100sqm boutique-within-a-boutique concept.
“Additionally, this year we are welcoming the highly-anticipated return of Chaumet, which has been a long-lost love of the BJC family.”
Mr Shirazi highlighted that exclusive and expensive pieces will be showcased for the first time to a much-larger audience from Bahrain, the GCC and the world and added that along with the usual high-calibre of brands exquisite pieces will be displayed by Patek Phillipe, Graff, Piaget, Chaumet, Omega and Dalumi Group diamonds.
He added that the most expensive pieces will also be found at Chatila, Schreiner, Chaumet and Graff while reaffirming that Scent Arabia will be a fabulous addition to Jewellery Arabia this year.
“Several of our BJC brands already have their own line of luxurious fragrances, such as Chopard with several tantalising scents from their Haute Perfumerie line, while Bulgari is also known for its glorious signature fragrances,” added Mr Shirazi.
“We encourage all perfume enthusiasts to discover these splendid product lines that we carry all year long at our exclusive boutiques.”
Meanwhile, BJC general manager Iqbal Dhanse told the GDN that Kismet by Milka will exhibit designer fine jewellery in the BJC stand with experts on site to assist customers with piercing requirements.
He added that ‘BJC is in expansion mode’ as the Omega store in Moda Mall is four-times larger than the previous one with an exclusive Graff and Roberta Coin boutique to open soon in Moda Mall.
He added that many brands under BJC will find a new home at Marassi Mall in the coming months.
“We can feel that sense of excitement in the air again – the feeling that anything is possible and that we are capable of achieving everything we set out to do,” BJC general manager Iqbal Dhanse told the GDN.
“Over the past 45 years, we’ve worked with some of the world’s top luxury brands.
“These include Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Graff, Breguet, Piaget, Bulgari, Roberto Coin, Jaeger-Le Coultre, Tiffancy & Co, Chopard, Omega, Bvlgari, Hublot and Tag Heuer.
“We are proud to partner with these companies and their products because they share our commitment to quality and excellence in craftsmanship.”
More than 650 exhibitors from around 30 countries will be taking part in Jewellery Arabia 2022.
