The Industry and Commerce Ministry has announced a recall of certain Mercedes-Benz cars in Bahrain.
The Consumer Protection Directorate announced the recall of Mercedes-Benz E Class (211 platform) and CLS (219 platform) models manufactured between 2002-2009, due to an issue with the fuel tank vent line.
The ministry stated that the material of the fuel tank vent line might be subject to premature ageing, which may cause cracks to develop on the vent line. Due to this, the vent lines need to be replaced.
Car owners have been urged to contact Mercedes Benz - Alhaddad Motors to book an appointment for the repair.
