Taylor Swift kicked off her 27-date US Eras concert series with a three hour tour on Friday at the State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona.
Swift opened with a six-song set from her "Lover" album and closed the concert with a seven-song set from her latest album 'Midnights', ending the night with the song 'Karma'.
Swift closed her set by asking the crowd, “Is it just me or do we have a lot of things to catch up on? To say that a lot has happened is really an understatement. I can’t even go into how much I missed you because there’s no way to verbalise it.”
This concert is Swift's first tour in five years since the pandemic. The 'Enchanted' singer played 44 songs in the span of three hours as a way to catch up to the previous three albums she hadn't toured for.
Back in November, when Swift announced the tour, she called it "a journey through the musical eras of my career".
The show continued at the same venue the next day and moved on to the Allegiant Stadium, LA and then the AT&T Stadium, Dallas.
