The Education Ministry will tomorrow start registering special needs students to enroll at special education schools in Kuwait for the year 2023-2024.
The four-day registration is open for children with mild mental and hearing impairment (deaf or with profound hearing loss).
Children have to be aged 13-17 years, and their IQ between (50-70) according to the assessment of their condition.
They should not have previously applied for a scholarship in Kuwait that ended due to cancellation.
The student should not have been dismissed from studying, as well as not having a double disability, being healthy and physically fit and having the ability to learn, and not suffering at the time of admission and registration from (nervous spasms – epilepsy – infectious, skin, respiratory, thoracic, psychological or other diseases such as broken blood cells, diabetes, asthma, heart, bones, and sleep disorders).
Admitted children will study for six years with a graduate qualification diploma certificate.
