Corendon Airlines is reportedly going to offer more than 100 seats in the new adult-only zone, on their flights from Amsterdam to Curaçao.
Customers need to pay an extra 45-100 euros for a seat in the zone.
The airline said the section is intended to ‘create a shielded environment’ for passengers ‘that contributes to a calm and relaxed flight’.
Only passengers above the age of 16 will be allowed to book seats in this section.
“This zone in the aircraft is intended for passengers travelling without children and for business travellers who want to work in a quiet environment. At the same time, the introduction of the Only Adult zone also has a positive effect for parents with children. They don’t have to worry as much about possible reactions from fellow passengers if their child is a bit busier or cries,” Corendon Airlines said in a statement.
