BAHRAIN’S achievements in its afforestation campaign (Green Forever), which includes plans to double the number of trees, have been praised by a UN official.
UN Habitat Global Chief Heat Officer Eleni Lenio Myrivili also said Bahrain’s campaign is in line with the UN’s programmes aimed to protect the environment and combat climate change .
