MEMBERS of the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra will create cinematic magic as they take to the stage for a concert tomorrow.
The event, conducted by founder maestro Major General Dr Mubarak Najem, will be held at the Bahrain National Theatre.
Audiences will be mesmerised by the enchanting melodies and iconic soundtracks as the programme features timeless Hollywood classics like Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and Aladdin, as well as vibrant sounds from Arabic, Turkish and Indian music featured in popular movies and TV series. Violin and vocal soloists will add an extra layer of depth to the musical journey and their virtuosi skills and emotive renditions will leave the audience spellbound.
Established in March 2022 by Dr Najem, who is general director of the Bahrain Police Band and founder of the Bahrain Music Institute, the orchestra comprises more than 100 talented musicians and choir members.
The concert, which begins at 8pm, is being organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
