PUBLIC and private companies in Bahrain have been urged to integrate youngsters with Down syndrome into their workforce, with at least 26 people of determination already employed and proving their mettle in different sectors.
Down Syndrome Care Centre executive manager Ahmed Alali said several people with the genetic disorder were months away from being ready for jobs and requested companies nationwide to give them an opportunity .
