THE APPEAL of a man convicted for possessing an unlicensed air rifle has been shot down by a court because he missed the deadline to file for it.
He was sentenced to a year in jail and issued with a BD200 fine after the High Criminal Court found him guilty of owning a weapon and ammunition without a permit in December .
