A new chapter in Bahrain’s automotive industry has begun with the arrival of Foton, a leading Chinese automotive brand as Al Haddad International Motors ventures into commercial vehicles.
The official launch was held yesterday at the Foton showroom in Sitra, signifying a strategic partnership.
“This is a historic moment,” said Foton commercial vehicles group sales manager, Mohammed Shareef. “By partnering with Foton, the largest commercial vehicle manufacturer in China, we’ve expanded our product portfolio and can now provide a complete solution for the transportation industry in Bahrain, meeting all customer requirements.”
Al Haddad International Motors, a subsidiary of the renowned Al Haddad Motors Group, is a prominent business conglomerate in Bahrain with a rich legacy in the automotive sector.
As the authorised distributor of Bestune since its introduction in summer 2022, Al Haddad International Motors has already demonstrated its expertise in successfully bringing leading Chinese marques to Bahrain.

All Tynland models come in a variety of colours and with a standard five-year manufacturer warranty or 150,000km.
Foton also offers commercial buses with seating capacity from 13 to 55 passengers for private and public transport needs, such as schools.
The light commercial vehicles include the Aumark S, available in four different models with six to 15 tonne gross vehicle weight powered by Cummins engine ZF transmission and a five-year / 200,000km manufacturer warranty.
For heavy commercial needs, Foton offers the Auman 4x2 tractor heads powered with 430 horsepower with Cummins engine and ZF transmission with a three-year/450,000km manufacturer warranty.
