His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) honorary president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa met yesterday with International Equestrian Federation (FEI) president Ingmar De Vos on the sidelines of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was also on hand, along with BOC secretary general Faris Al Kooheji and other officials.
Shaikh Nasser affirmed his keenness to extend bridges of co-operation and co-ordination between Breef and the FEI to continue advancing equestrian sports, especially with the kingdom’s great interest in these events.
Shaikh Nasser and De Vos also discussed other relevant issues, including the FEI World Endurance Championship for Seniors in France next month. Shaikh Nasser wished the FEI continued success.
