Responding to news circulating on social media regarding flight GF20 from Casablanca to Bahrain, Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, said it had cancelled the flight and would reschedule it to ensure the safety of the passengers and the crew.
The company also revealed that the affected passengers had been provided with hotel accommodation in line with the customary procedures taken in such cases, our Arabic sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej reported yesterday .
