Two Indian nationals, a man and a woman, are facing human trafficking charges at the High Criminal Court after they allegedly forced a fellow national into illegal employment and abhorrent working conditions.
The 36-year-old man, a labourer from Salmaniya, and the 25-year-old woman, a supervisor from Gudaibiya, reportedly lured the 28-year-old victim to Bahrain and made her to work at a restaurant as a waitress for almost 12 hours a day with no off-days .
