SUPREME Council for Youth and Sport secretary general Ayman Almoayyed, and Bahrain Olympic Committee secretary general Faris Al Kooheji met World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) president Witold Banka to discuss enhancing cooperation in anti-doping efforts and safeguarding sports integrity.
The meeting reviewed means to strengthen Bahrain’s partnership with WADA, ensure alignment with the international anti-doping code, and boost national awareness, training, and capacity-building programmes.
Almoayyed underscored Bahrain’s commitment to clean sport and commended WADA’s global leadership in promoting fairness and transparency.
Al Kooheji emphasised the Olympic committee’s interest in expanding collaboration on educational programmes targeting athletes and coaches.
On his part, Banka commended Bahrain’s progress in anti-doping compliance and expressed the agency’s readiness to provide technical support to further national efforts in this area.
