Health Minister Dr Jalila Al Sayyed led Bahrain’s delegation to the 78th World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva and was elected vice-president of the assembly in Geneva.
During the WHA’s general discussion session, titled “One World for Health,” the minister delivered Bahrain’s statement, in which she affirmed the kingdom’s appreciation for the World Health Organisation (WHO) and its efforts to ensure equal opportunities for a safe and healthy life for all and to address current and future health challenges .
