Legislators are seeking to implement facial recognition systems in hotels across the kingdom, mirroring a pioneering initiative launched in the UAE, to enhance security.
A proposal spearheaded by five MPs, led by Parliament’s financial and economic affairs committee chairman and Strategic Thinking Bloc president MP Ahmed Al Salloom, has been submitted to Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam and is currently being reviewed by the services committee .
