A proposal for shuttle buses to and from the Old Muharraq Suq has been unanimously approved by the Muharraq Municipal Council to make the historic market more accessible to shoppers.
The recommendation, submitted by council chairman and area councillor Abdulaziz Al Naar, seeks to address growing concerns over limited accessibility to the suq, especially during the sweltering summer months .
