BADMINTON – OVER 100 young talents from across the Gulf are set to take part in the GOPIO Junior Badminton Open Tournament 2025.
The event will be held at the Indian Club tomorrow, starting at 8am.
This was announced yesterday by the Global Organisation People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) Bahrain executive committee during a Press meet at The Hilton Hotel in Juffair.
GOPIO sports council head Binu Pappachen said that the under-19 competition has attracted 130 participants who have registered for both the singles and doubles categories.
The tournament is sponsored by Global Remort, Procoat, KIMS, Burooj Press, Sangeetha Restaurant, Grey Image, and VMB.
GOPIO Bahrain president Tina Mathew extended an invitation to all to come and encourage the participants in the tournament.
Also amongst those attending the Press meet were GOPIO Bahrain PR secretary Ameena Rahman, and GOPIO sports council head Lata Vinod.
