BASKETBALL – THE Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) has announced that the final round of the Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour 2025 has been upgraded from a Lite Quest to a Quest event.
This is following the decision of the International Basketball Federation (Fiba), which is supervising the competition.
By being a Quest event, it offers the winners the opportunity to qualify for a berth in one of this season’s stops on the Fiba 3x3 World Tour – the most prestigious street basketball series that is held in various cities worldwide.
Registration is now open for teams wishing to take part in the inaugural Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour. The deadline to sign up is today. The tournament is open to Bahraini players aged above 16 representing clubs, commercial institutions, or independent groups.
To qualify for the 12-team Quest event, a squad must play in at least three rounds of the Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour. The winners and runners-up from each meeting qualify for the finale, with the qualification card being transferred to the next classified team in the event of repeat winners.
In the Quest competition, the winners will earn an historic ticket to the Fiba 3x3 World Tour, giving Bahraini players the chance to play amongst basketball’s elite.
