BAHRAIN’S highest court has upheld the guilt of a car garage supervisor, who was convicted of negligence which indirectly led to the amputation of a mechanic’s thumb.
Last year, the Lower Criminal Court sentenced the man to a month behind bars, and was given the option to turn it into a suspended sentence if BD200 was paid in bail .
