The Foreign Ministry has deployed a team of Bahraini diplomats to Turkmenistan, as part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate the return of Bahraini citizens stranded abroad in countries affected by current developments. The diplomats are overseeing and co-ordinating with the relevant Turkmen authorities to streamline entry procedures for Bahraini citizens stranded in Iran, enabling their transit through Turkmenistan and onward travel to Bahrain via Gulf Air, the national carrier .
