A decree-law amending Bahrain’s professional sports legislation will strengthen governance, speed up decision-making and reinforce the kingdom’s compliance with international sporting standards, according to General Sports Authority (GSA) chief executive Abdulrahman Askar.
The decree, issued by His Majesty King Hamad during the parliamentary recess, was unanimously approved by the Shura Council yesterday .
