Manama: A Live show about a popular children’s television character is being staged as part of Bahrain’s annual Summer Festival.
Barney the dinosaur has returned to Bahrain with his friends on their latest fun adventure, “Barney Live! World Tour”.
Multiple performances will take place every day until Saturday at the Cultural Hall.
Meanwhile, starting August 20 Elmo, Big Bird, Abby Cadabby and all their Sesame Street friends will share their love of music in the “Sesame Street: Live Elmo Makes Music” show.
Running until August 24, there will be two performances each day, giving plenty of opportunity for young fans to dance, clap and sing along to the lively performances.
The line-up of eclectic family-friendly shows and activities during the festival caters to a wide range of ages and interests, from music, song and dance concerts, to theatrical productions, artistic showcases and workshops, and performances.
It includes a variety of free cultural, educational and entertainment activities for families at the Nakhool Tent, next to Sitra Mall, with mascot Nakhool, a character symbolising Bahrain’s tradition, culture and its Dilmun history.
It is open daily from 4pm to 10pm.
