A Kuwaiti man, aged 30, died of thirst along with his ten-year-old son in Saudi Arabia, according to Al Qabas newspaper.
They left the rest house in Saudi Arabia last Friday afternoon but got lost in the Saudi Al Nairiya desert as they were heading to Kuwait.
Saudi security authorities launched a massive search operation in a bid to rescue them, using police helicopters.
The father and his son were found dead in the desert in the governorate of Hafr Al Baten after their four-wheel Toyota got stuck in the sand.
