Haya Bosa shone brightest at the start of Flight Fighters 2017 Indoor Skydiving competition yesterday at Gravity Indoor Skydiving wind tunnel.
World champions in 4-Way FS AA, Haya Bosa took a two-point lead against Weembi High Rollers at the end of the first day rounds of this two-day international event.
Making up Haya Bosa team are David Grauwels, Andy Grauwels, Jeroen Nollet and Dennis Praet from Belgium, while Julien Degen, Guillaume Bernier, Mathieu Bernier and Roy Janssen of France form the Weembi High Rollers side.
In the 4-Way AA category, Bahrain 1 team were in the lead by 26 points, while in 4-Way VFS, SDC Core were on top. In the 4-Way Dynamic, Windoor and Fire Meets Gravity were in tight battle.
In 2-Way Dynamic, Windoor were in the lead, while in Freestyle & Solo Speed, Junior Freestyle champion Kyra Poh stole the spotlight with a fantastic performance and freestyle routine that put her in the lead.
The atmosphere during the competition on the first day was very enjoyable, filled with a fun spirit.
Flight Fighters is witnessing a great number of spectators taking enjoyment in watching the variety of performances by the competitors, anticipating the finals which take place today.
More than 60 male and female athletes from around the world are taking part in the event, which comes as part of Gravity’s preparations to host the third FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving in October next year.
Sports enthusiasts are encouraged to attend the sporting event, which is open to all for free.
