Tunisia defeated Egypt 26-24 in the 2018 African Men's Handball Championship final on Saturday night.
This was Tunisia's 10th title in the competition and their first since 2012.
Egypt dominated the first half (15-13) through Ahmed El Ahmar, Ali Zaen and Eslam Hassan. However, they lost right wing, Abo El-fotouh Ahmed, as he received a red card before the half time.
In the second half, Tunisia was the better side, as right wing Osama Hosny led his team to victory 26-24.
Gabon hosted the 23rd edition of the tournament from January 17-27.
