A member of the Abu Dhabi royal family, who was among three soldiers injured in a helicopter crash in Yemen, has returned to the UAE after undergoing treatment abroad.
Shaikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al-Nahyan was injured in the crash that happened in Yemen's Shabwah Governate in August 2017. Four soldiers were killed in the crash.
UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum posted two tweets, saluting Shaikh Zayed bin Hamdan’s return to the homeland.
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan also tweeted, welcoming Shaikh Zayed bin Hamdan’s safe return.
