Gulf Tech International announced a ground-breaking agreement between Gulf Tech International and a Nasa partner in the UAE – who wishes to remain anonymous – to give youngsters knowledge of the Nasa space programme through a training course in Bahrain.
The agreement formalises a partnership in support of the Nasa space programme launched to train youngsters to understand the unlimited possibilities in space and widen their horizons.
The event highlights Bahrain’s commitment to the burgeoning industry and what has become the most advanced Nasa space programme in the region.
“With this ground-breaking partnership and Gulf Tech International’s BD40,000 investment for the Nasa space programme in the country, it is establishing Bahrain as a premier destination for youngsters at the forefront of innovation,” said general manager Irfan Karamat Ali.
“By investing in this cutting-edge technology, we are creating a pathway to grow the upstate economy and create good-paying, quality jobs in the industries of the future.”
The development of the Nasa space programme is expected to unlock an industry worth millions of dinars and attract the development of young people with the latest space technology in Bahrain.
Dividends are already paying off as the regionally-based Nasa partner incorporated plans to initially hire more staff following its announcement of a BD50 million contract with the US Army.
“The Gulf Tech International agreement with us will provide mutual benefit in advancing the Nasa space programme that will foster innovation and commercialisation of this new space industry,” said a representative from the Nasa partner company.
