UAE: The son of the UAE Federal Supreme Council member and Sharjah Ruler was buried this morning at Al Jubail cemetery.
The funeral prayer for the late Shaikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi was held at 9.00am at King Faisal Mosque in Sharjah.
His father UAE Federal Supreme Council member and Sharjah Ruler Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi took part in the funeral along with other royals and senior officials.
A three-day mourning will be observed in the emirate of Sharjah, during which flags will be flown at half-mast.
UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan also announced a three-day mourning.
