An unknown American was ready to pay AED6 million for the rare Ferrari Enzo that was impounded by Dubai traffic police.
The car, a masterpiece, gathered a lot of attention with many people wanting to buy the car that has been collecting dust for past six years.
However, this offer was rejected by Dubai traffic police chief Colonel Saif Al Mazroui as the supercar was wanted by Interpol.
Mazroui also stated that the car was subject of legal dispute in UAE.
Colonel Saif Al Mazroui was quoted in the Arabic language daily Emarat Al Youm, “An American has offered to buy the car for AED6 million, but we cannot release the vehicle for sale or auction because it is still under dispute,” he said.
“This car is a real masterpiece as only just over 300 had been produced by the company. Several people have offered to buy it, while others have queried about it.”
