Dubai: The overall population living in the emirate of Dubai has grown by 5.64 per cent.
According to figures released by the Dubai Statistics Centre, the population of the emirate reached 3,313,420 by the end of Q3, 2019, up by 177,020 compared to the same period last year.
The population of Dubai reached 3,136,400 by the end of the third quarter of 2018.
The overall number of people reached 4,459,420 during peak hours, up 1.146 million persons who are mainly tourists or workers on temporary basis.
