KHAMZAT Chimaev still doesn’t have a new date for his first title shot of his career, against reigning Brave CF welterweight world champion Jarrah Al Selawe, but that doesn’t mean that the Swedish undefeated prospect will let the beef against the Jordanian Lion fade away.
On his official Instagram profile, Chimaev published a small video montage of him and Al Selawe, “trolling” the champion.
In the video, Al Selawe is a small kid being pushed by his dad on a toy car while another infant comes by driving by himself a much better car miniature. This other person is Chimaev, who drives away with a real “thug life” attitude.
The humour post was captioned by Chimaev provoking Al Selawe.
“See you soon, boy,” wrote the Allstars Training Centre athlete. Quickly, the publication got traction in social media, gathering laughs from Chimaev supporters and complaints by Al Selawe fans.
Professional
With a professional record of six wins and no losses, Chimaev is currently on a four-finish streak, all of them under Brave Combat Federation’s banner.
He has been recognised as the hottest prospect in Europe and his next fight has been lauded as the biggest combat sports event of the year in Sweden.
The champion Al Selawe holds a pro-record of 13 wins and three losses. In his last fight, Al Selawe avenged his loss against Abdoul Abdouraguimov and regained the world title, while being recognised as the biggest MMA fighter in the history of the Middle East.
Al Selawe and Chimaev were supposed to face each other in April, during the Brave CF debut fight card in Sweden.
However, the event, as the other two already scheduled by the world’s fastest-growing MMA promotion, was postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
