Kuwait City: The health authorities in Kuwait on Wednesday confirmed a total of 762 new coronavirus (Covid-19) infections over the past 24 hours, taking the overall number to 52,007 cases.
In a statement reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Health Ministry spokesperson Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said that two people who tested positive for the virus had passed away, taking the death toll 379 since the pandemic broke out.
The ministry also announced that 593 additional infected patients had recovered, taking the overall number of recoveries to 42,108.
