MANAMA: Parliament’s first deputy speaker Abdulnabi Salman has stressed the need to consider implementing different types of taxes in Bahrain to increase non-oil revenues in the state budget.
He urged yesterday to levy tax on income and companies’ profit as well as what is called white lands tax instead of raising VAT and putting additional financial burden on low-income people .
