47 cats found living in a car with their owner have been rescued by animal welfare workers in Minnesota.
The animals were rescued after temperatures rose to 32C outside, making it even hotter inside the car.
The owner had recently become homeless, but did not want to abandon his pets.
They were found in the car while it was parked in a rest area, but despite the scorching heat, the cats only had minor medical issues.
Once the cats are treated, they will be sterilised and put up for adoption.
