British pigeons are reportedly turning into 'zombies' due to a mysterious disease which is apparently twisting the birds' necks upside down and causing them to start walking in a zig-zag manner.
The disease, called Pigeon Paramoxyvirus causes deformed necks, dangerously thin bodies and takes away the bird's ability to fly.
It also turns pigeon faeces green and causes it to die within a few days.
Although humans cannot catch the disease, people handling the infected birds can get conjunctivitis, it was revealed.
The news comes on the heels of a major bird flu epidemic which resulted in over three million birds being culled across the UK.
