A woman was allegedly scammed after receiving a phone call from a foreign number, with the caller telling her that she won a prize from a popular Bahraini bank, only to steal her information and then her money.The man, who pretended to work for the bank, tricked her into giving up a one-time password (OTP), then stole BD2,760 from her account, the High Criminal Court heard yesterday .
