Formula 1 fans looking ahead to the start of the 2023 F1 season in Bahrain are in for a treat as Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced yesterday that tickets are now on sale for the two open days to F1 Aramco Pre-Season Testing 2023, taking place later this month.
The tests at ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’ are scheduled for February 23 to 25, with the last two days open for the general public to enjoy the on-track running. The first day’s action will not be open to fans.
Fans who have bought tickets for the F1 race weekend before February 1 already have free access to pre-season testing, now BIC is opening up the opportunity for other fans to buy tickets specifically for the testing days, for a first glimpse of the 2023 cars in action. Tickets cost BD5 per day and are half the price at BD2.5 each for children aged 3 to 12 and are available at Bahraingp.com or by calling +973-17450000.
All those attending the pre-season tests will be able to follow the action from BIC’s Main Grandstand, which overlooks the F1 Pit Lane, the teams’ garages and the circuit’s main straight. Gates will be open from midday to 7pm on both open days.
BIC is also offering a special Paddock Club experience, with incredible hospitality, cuisine and the best view in the house. Those interested in the Paddock Club package should email [email protected]
Testing in Bahrain will be the F1 teams’ and drivers’ only chance to get crucial information on their cars’ performance on track ahead of the start of the new campaign. The 2023 FIA F1 World Championship gets underway just one week after the tests with the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix from March 3 to 5 at BIC.
Tickets to this year’s F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix are selling fast and those looking to experience the pinnacle of motorsport must purchase theirs at the earliest to not miss out on the region’s biggest event of the year.
Tickets to the race weekend can be bought for the Main Grandstand, Turn 1 Grandstand, Beyon Grandstand, University Grandstand and Victory Grandstand. There are also a number of exclusive hospitality options available with The Dome Lounge and The Champions Club.
A world of entertainment – from renowned global performers to fun activities for the whole family – are lined up as part of the off-track programme at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Three days of top-class motorsport will be complemented by plenty of entertaining attractions that include roaming acts, stage shows, carnival rides, kids’ activities and a concert featuring an A-list artist.
All throughout the weekend, there will be non-stop racing from morning to night as a packed timetable will see F1 being supported by the FIA Formula 2 Championship, the FIA Formula 3 Championship and the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East.
