Children accompanying their parents to the Two Holy Mosques of Mecca and Medina will now be handed wristbands that will assist authorities should they get separated from them.
The wristband will display the name of the child and the contact numbers of the parents, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques revealed.
“The initiative ... supports parents and their children to perform their rituals peacefully,” the presidency's social, voluntary and humanitarian services undersecretary-general Khalid bin Fahad Al-Shalawi told Arab News.
