MEDICAL experts are calling on parents to be careful about leaving toys and battery-powered electronics within reach of young children, after a lithium coin battery had to be removed from a boy who had accidentally swallowed it.
The four-year-old boy was the first paediatric patient at the new King Hamad American Mission Hospital (KHAMH) in A’ali, which has softly opened its doors to the public .
