Special Security Force 1 held Protocol and VIP Protection Department to a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the Ramadan Sevens Football Championship for Officers at the Public Security Officers Club grounds yesterday.
In other matches, General Inspectorate eased past Reform and Rehabilitation Team 8-2 while Special Security Force 2 held off Coast Guard 2-1.
Sixteen teams from various departments of the Interior Ministry are participating in the tournament, which is organised by the Public Security Sports Federation.

Bayern Munich parted ways with coach Julian Nagelsmann yesterday and appointed former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel as his successor, with the German champions in second place in the Bundesliga.
