Filly Carla’s Way, owned by Horse Care Affairs Authority chairman Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa, secured first place in the Dubai Rockfel Stakes (Group 2 - 2yro) at the Newmarket racecourse.
Sponsored by Al Basti Equiworld, the race covered 1,400 metres and featured thrilling competitions.
Carla’s Way, guided by veteran jockey James Doyle and trained by Aidan O’Brien and Simon Christopher, showcased outstanding performance, further adding to the achievements of Bahrain on British racetracks and marking another milestone in Bahrain’s participation in international competitions.
Shaikh Duaij expressed his delight in Carla’s Way’s first-place finish, emphasising that this achievement confirms Bahrain’s strong presence in international competitions, especially since the Newmarket racecourse always witnesses significant global participation and fierce competition for top positions.
