BADMINTON – The BKS Open Junior and Senior Badminton Tournament will be held from Sunday at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam premises.
The tournament, which concludes on May 26, will feature a wide range of competitive categories for junior and senior players, said BKS president PV Radhakrishna Pillai and general secretary Varghese Karakkal in a statement.
In the junior category, matches will held for singles and doubles titles for boys and girls and in the senior category competitions will be held in men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles and masters doubles.
To ensure maximum participation from experienced players, the tournament will feature jumbled doubles.
Due to high demand, the deadline for registration has been extended until tomorrow, the statement added.
