His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has highlighted that the attendance of His Majesty at the Windsor Horse Show reflects his continued support for the Royal Endurance Team in international competitions.
Also present was Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Nasser noted that the team’s participation in the show, particularly with the involvement of young riders, aligns with His Majesty’s vision to preserve the identity and legacy of Bahraini endurance sport, which has achieved numerous accomplishments for the kingdom.
He added that the team met several objectives set by the technical and administrative staff, enhancing the riders’ skills and gaining valuable experience that will contribute to the continued growth of Bahraini endurance sport in future international events.
He congratulated Royal Endurance Team rider Saud Mubarak Sabt for securing first place in the 120km race.
Shaikh Nasser also extended congratulations to UAE riders Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei and Saeed Hamoud Al Khayari, who achieved first and second places respectively in the 160km race, and Royal Endurance Team rider Fahad Hilal Al Khateri for finishing third.
