As part of ongoing efforts to enhance public awareness, the General Directorate of Civil Defence has announced the launch of several awareness campaigns and a range of targeted programmes aimed at promoting a culture of public safety during the summer months, with the goal of protecting lives and property.
Director-General of Civil Defence Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Kubaisi stated that these initiatives are part of the Directorate’s strategic plan to prevent and mitigate incidents that may result from high temperatures or the improper use of energy sources during the summer .
