BASKETBALL – THE first competition of the Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour 2025 is set to take place today at Zain Basketball Arena in Um Al Hassam.
Action is scheduled to get underway at 4pm and will continue until after 8:30pm. Play in the preliminary round will be held across five pools. Group A features Seef, Black Horses, Mini Wolves, Cedar Squad, and Isa Town Club. Group B includes Muharraq Club, Big Guys, American University of Bahrain, Aura, and El 7oor.
Group C is composed of Tranquilo, Saar, BS Action, Al Hidd, and Ultimate Hoops. Group D comprises Manama Crazy, Future Academy, Jokers, Alba, and Falcons; while Group E features ATBB, Nuwaidrat Club, Ettihad Club, and Black Wall.
The round of 16 is scheduled to begin at 7.50pm, followed directly by the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final. The Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour is a key initiative of the Bahrain Basketball Association to expand the participation base in 3x3 basketball and establish Bahrain’s presence in the international 3x3 circuit, sanctioned by the International Basketball Federation (Fiba). The Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour’s final event, also known as a Quest competition, will see the winners earn a spot in one of the prestigious tournaments on the 2025 Fiba 3x3 World Tour. There is also a total prize pool of $6,000 in the series, to be distributed among the top-performing teams from each event, including the Quest finale.
