The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) conducted 1,206 inspection campaigns and visits during the first half of June, which resulted in the detention of 18 violating workers and the deportation of 218 individuals for breaches of residency and labour laws in Bahrain.The LMRA stated that these campaigns included 1,189 inspection visits to commercial establishments across the kingdom’s governorates, in addition to 17 joint campaigns with relevant government bodies .
