Two alleged passport bandits are on trial for snatching a passing pedestrian’s documents after stopping him in the middle of the street before fleeing the scene in a stolen car bearing false number plates.
The High Criminal Court heard that one of the pair, a 36-year-old, had previous convictions of theft, drugs, dishonesty and intentional destruction of property .
