The Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) has officially signed an agreement with the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to host official PBA games in the kingdom – for the first time in the league's history – later this year.
A contract signing ceremony took place in Manila between BBA president Alaa Mudara and PBA commissioner Willie Marcial on the sidelines of the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
This mega basketball event is scheduled for December 15 to 17 with three of the most prominent PBA teams, who will be named in due course, taking part.
It is being held as part of the 50th anniversaries of both the BBA and PBA, which is one of the most popular and highly competitive basketball leagues in Asia.
More details of the event are to be announced soon.
